Another W&H Pre-War Trophy Property Transformed; $53 Million Upgrade Now Complete at 1350 Broadway

NEW YORK CITY - The one-and-a-half-year, $53 million upgrade program at 1350 Broadway, one of W&H Properties' nine Pre-War Manhattan Trophy office towers, is now complete, announces Fred C. Posniak, senior vice president of W&H Properties.

The top-to-bottom building upgrades include a new lobby, entrances, renovated elevators, a new roof and façade, renovated air-conditioned public corridors and restrooms, and upgraded building-wide systems, including state-of-the-art electrical, plumbing, HVAC and security.

"As with all W&H upgrade programs, we insisted on the highest quality workmanship to create a modern, professional environment with Class-A facilities and amenities," says Mr. Posniak. Each W&H building has undergone or is nearing completion of top-to-bottom upgrades, adds Mr. Posniak. The nine buildings are: the Empire State Building, One Grand Central Place (60 East 42nd Street), 112 West 34th Street, 501 Seventh Avenue, 1333 Broadway, 1359 Broadway, 1400 Broadway and 250 West 57th Street, along with 1350 Broadway.

Situated on the north side of Herald Square in the Penn Plaza district, across from Macy's flagship location, 1350 Broadway contains 25 stories and more than 400,000 square feet of modern office space. It offers unsurpassed access to transportation, and is just steps from the Long Island Rail Road, Metro North, New Jersey Transit and Amtrak at Penn Station, Port Authority, PATH, 15 subway lines and all major bus lines.
